Fewer opportunities, examined properly
Every opportunity is assessed before it is shown to anyone. Where the requirement is not defined, or the evidence is not there, we say so and explain what is missing.
Juliet Rose Capital connects renewable energy and infrastructure opportunities with institutional, private and strategic sources of investment.
We introduce. We do not advise.
Juliet Rose reviews opportunities across renewable energy, energy infrastructure and the wider transition, and introduces those it considers credible to capital sources whose mandates fit. We form a view on relevance. We do not form a view, on behalf of either party, on the merits of proceeding.
The decision to invest belongs to the investor. The decision to accept capital belongs to the company. Both are better placed to make those judgements than we are, and both bear their consequences.
Every opportunity is assessed before it is shown to anyone. Where the requirement is not defined, or the evidence is not there, we say so and explain what is missing.
Capital sources are identified against stated mandate, geography, cheque size, technology and development stage. A warm relationship is worth little if the mandate does not fit.
We make the introduction and provide the materials the company has prepared. The parties conduct their own diligence and negotiate directly. We do not sit between them.
Generation, storage, infrastructure and the technologies that support them.
The energy transition is a capital formation problem long before it is a technology problem.
Utility scale pipelines, commercial rooftop portfolios and distributed generation.
Onshore portfolios, offshore development positions and emerging platforms.
Production, storage, distribution and the technologies that support them.
Battery energy storage, long duration storage and the assets that support them.
Grid, connection, generation and the enabling assets the transition depends on.
Technologies that improve efficiency, reduce emissions or produce energy at lower cost.
The power, storage and infrastructure behind data centres and AI capacity.
We work with renewable energy developers, project owners, energy technology companies and infrastructure businesses seeking development, construction, project, growth or acquisition capital.
Before an opportunity is considered we expect a defined capital requirement, a clear use of proceeds, evidenced project or commercial status and management with a delivery record.
We work with institutional investors, infrastructure funds, private equity and credit, family offices, strategic investors and international investment groups active in energy and infrastructure.
Tell us the mandate. Sector, geography, cheque size, technology, stage, structure and risk appetite. We introduce only where an opportunity appears to fall inside it.
Exceptional opportunities are rarely created overnight.
The rose the business is named for was not the product of a season. It came from years of patient breeding, most of it unremarkable, before anything worth showing emerged. Rarity is an outcome of that work rather than a claim made about it.
Energy assets behave in much the same way. Sites take years to control and consent. Technologies take longer still to reach commercial deployment. The businesses that endure are usually those that were built slowly and capitalised properly at each stage.
We are selective for the same reason. An introducer is only worth the attention of capital for as long as what it sends is worth reading.
Five stages. The last two belong to the parties, not to us.
The company provides its investment materials, the capital requirement and the stage it has reached.
We assess whether the opportunity falls within our areas of interest and existing capital relationships.
Potential sources are identified against mandate, geography, investment size, technology and development stage.
Where there is a credible fit, a qualified introduction is made with the materials the company has prepared.
The parties decide independently whether to progress. Diligence, negotiation and the investment decision are theirs.
Notes on how capital is behaving in the sectors we cover.
Projects are rarely turned down on returns. They are turned down on evidence.
How we workTwo activities are routinely conflated. They are not the same, and the difference has consequences.
Energy storageStorage revenue changes shape as more capacity connects. Underwriting has adjusted accordingly.
If you are raising capital, or deploying it, the first conversation is short.
